ICMR increases RT-PCR test by 10 thousand in Delhi

Cases of corona infection are increasing rapidly in the national capital Delhi. In view of this, on the orders of the Union Home Ministry, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has increased the number of RT-PCR tests in Delhi from 27 thousand to 37 thousand per day.

On Saturday, the ministry tweeted that an important meeting under the chairmanship of Home Minister Amit Shah was held in Delhi recently to discuss the situation in Corona, in which Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other senior officials attended.

In the meeting, it was decided to increase the number of corona inquiries held daily in Delhi. On the instructions of the Home Minister, the ICMR has increased the number of RT-PCR tests in the capital Delhi from 37,000 to 37,000 per day. On November 15, 12,055 RT-PCR tests were performed in Delhi, while on November 19, 30,735 samples were tested.
