90' - Time is running away for Mumbai City FC. They have switched gear but NorthEast United FC's backline has been watertight today mostly. The Islanders are lacking the spark in the second half. The red card to Ahmed Jahouh changed the course of the game and NorthEast now look favourite to grab the three points

Just 10 minutes of normal time plus injury time remains in the match. The Highlanders still ahead courtesy this cool and calm finish from their no. 9, Kwesi Appiah. Can they hold onto the lead or will Mumbai make a late comeback??

Mumbai City FC head coach Sergio Lobera hopes that his players adapt to his preferred style of play over the course of the first few matches of the 2020-21 ISL season.
"Obviously when there are players we have worked with before and we need to implement a new style of play, it is easier. These players can help me understand their team mates better and thus help with the style of play," said Lobera ahead of Mumbai's first match of the season.
