TRICHY: A 26-year-old youth from Trichy city has shot a two-minute-long short film as a tribute for
Covid-19 frontline workers and
medical professionals involved in the
pandemic mitigation efforts for the past eight months now.
The short film completely shot at Trichy encourage viewers to not let their guards down as Covid-19 infections are gradually declining. “On coming across the experiences of various frontline medical professionals and paramedical staffs, we wanted to show the people the difficulties involved in treating the patients. The short film was to honour their efforts in keeping us safe,”
Vamsee Krishna, the short filmmaker said.
Named as
Covid warriors, the short film captures the two minutes in the life of a paramedical staff on duty in a Covid ward. The difficulties faced by the health workers in wearing multiple personal protective equipments (PPE) and mental trauma were portrayed in the movie.
