GHMC elections: BJP has strong bond with Hyderabad, says G Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad, Nov 22 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Affairs and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Election Campaign Committee Chairman G Kishan Reddy has said that the BJP has strong bond with the Hyderabad.
Speaking at the “Meet the Press” programme organized by the Press Club here on Sunday, Mr Reddy said that the BJP always mingled with the people of Hyderabad by sharing their difficulties and happiness since 1980.
The people also showing more interest in the BJP in this GHMC elections as compared to other elections. So that the BJP is making all efforts to win in GHMC elections scheduled to be held on December 1.
Criticizing TRS government led by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar who had promised to the poor people to provide double-bed –room houses (with the main agenda) during the last GHMC elections, Mr Reddy questioned TRS party how to ask votes even after five years for not giving even a single house to the poor people.
Mr Reddy said that about 30 lakh house less poor people had applied for double –bed-room houses in the city but the Government had constructed few houses at IDH Colony, Sanathnagar and promised to construct such houses to the poor people during the last GHMC elections. But yet to fulfil it even after five years. He asked the people to question them where is the double bed-room houses.
Stating that the BJP’s aim is to liberate Hyderabad from the rule of Kalvakuntla family and Old City from Owaisi family, the Union Minister urged people to bless the party during the GHMC elections.
Criticising the TRS government for not able to stop rainwater in the city even after spending Rs 67,000 crore, Mr Reddy assured the people that the BJP will develop Hyderabad city as a beautiful city by crating basic infrastructure if voted to power in GHMC elections.
Winning Dubbak by-elections by BJP has proved that the people of Telangana are seeking change, Mr Reddy said GHMC election is a further step of it.
“ The Chief Minister created a brand image to the Hyderabad with the speech (model the Old City of Hyderabad after Istanbul and Hyderabad as Dallas). But BJP will create a real brand image to the Hyderabad by creating necessary infrastructure with the available resources and implementing corrupt less governance”, Mr Reddy said.
