Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a multi-story flat built for MPs on Monday. New flats have been built in place of eight old bungalows located in the Lutyens Zone of the national capital, 80 years old. Members of Parliament will be among them.
The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) issued a statement on Saturday and informed about this. Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the flat through video conferencing. Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla will also be present during this period.
The PMO said these flats for MPs are located on Dr. BD Marg in Delhi. Eight old bungalows, which were more than 80 years old, have been redeveloped to construct these 76 flats. Despite the Corona epidemic, the construction of these flats has been completed, with a saving of about 14 percent from the approved cost and without taking much time.
