nCoV : Delhi clocks a fresh spike of 6,608 new cases and 118 deaths

New Delhi, Nov 20(UNI) National capital on Friday clocked a fresh spike of 6,608 new COVID cases , while 118 more people lost their battle to the virus during the past 24 hours, the state health bulletin said here.
The overall nCoV cases tally of the city has now reached 5,17,238 till date , the government data said.
Pandemic death toll of the city has now mounted to 8,159, and the death rate based on past ten days data is currently 1.54 per cent.
Talking of recoveries , it was after several days that the city clocked more recoveries than the new cases , with 8,775 people defeating the virus since Thursday, pushing the total recoveries across the city till date to 4,68,143.
City's recovery rate stands at 90.50 per cent, the government data said.
Active case load on the city has also witnessed a dip by 2285 , due to more cured patients than the new ones recorded during the part 24 hours,and presently the city is home to 40,936 active cases of
COVID 19.
Meanwhile, the patients under home isolation are now 24,042 in the city , the government data added.

ED files prosecution complaint against four for cheating foreign company

New Delhi, Nov 20 (UNI) The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday filed a Prosecution Complaint against Sai Chandrasekhar, VirkaranAwasty, RitikaAwasty and Bush Foods Overseas Pvt Ltd in a cheating case for the offence of money laundering under Section 3 of PMLA, punishable under Section 4 of PMLA.
The probe agency initiated PMLA investigation on the basis of FIR registered by the Delhi Police Economic Offences Wing on the basis of a complaint of Hassad Netherlands BV.
