Senior journalist Mudasir dies of cardiac arrest in Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov 20 (UNI) A senior journalist Mudasir Ali, working with a local English daily, died of cardiac arrest on Friday.
Mudasir 37, was also writing for The Wire website.
Mudasir, who was working from his home due to accident, complained chest pain in the wee hours at 0200 hrs and was immediately rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
He was working a senior correspondent with an English “Greater Kashmir”.
His colleagues said Mudasir was working with editors till late in the night on Thursday before he collapsed.
Many media organizations have condoled the demise of Mudasir.
A spokesman for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in a tweet said, “Shocked to hear about sudden & tragic death of Mudassir Ali, a young Kashmiri journalist working with @GreaterKashmir & @thewire_in, who passed away due to cardiac arrest this morning. We express our deepest condolences to the bereaved family. May his soul rest in eternal peace''.

Indore, MP, Nov 19 (UNI) A local court granted bail on Thursday to Namdev Das Tyagi aka Computer Baba in a case pertaining to assault and issuance of threats.
With this, the godman – who was in judicial custody since November 8 – got a breather in all four criminal matters pending against him.
