Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 19.05 points down at 12752.65 on Friday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Among the stocks that touched their 52-week high on NSE were: Adani Green Energy; Gland Pharma; The India Cements; Jindal Steel & Power; Narayana Hrudayalaya; Supreme Industries; Titan Company; Tata Steel; MRF Ltd; NIIT Ltd; Amara Raja Batteries; Orchid Pharma.
Overall, 28 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 22 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.
In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finserv, Titan Company , Nestle India, Tech Mahindra and NTPC were among top gainers, while IndusInd Bank, RIL, Axis Bank, UPL and SBI were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 64.42 points down at 43535.54. Traders were seen piling up position in Services, Gems and Jewellery, Hospitals & Allied Services, Defence and Diversified sectors, while selling were visible in Trading, Mining, Agro Processing, Shipping and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors.
