Indian Army rejects claim of use of microwave weapons by Chinese army

India has rejected Chinese media's claim of using microwave weapons against Indian soldiers during a clash with China in eastern Ladakh. Indian officials said China fabricated a fake story of using microwave weapons, stating that in a recent confrontation with India, the Chinese Army converted mountain peaks into microwave ovens, allowing Beijing to occupy two key peaks. Succeeded to do.

The Indian Army has rejected this claim, saying that its occupation in the higher area is still intact. The claim being made in the media report is a complete lie. No such incident occurred in Ladakh. According to a report by the Washington Examiner, a professor from Beijing claimed that China had used weapons that raised the temperature so much in 15 minutes that the Indian soldiers at the peak had started vomiting. They could not even stand up and had to run away from there.

In this way, China captured those peaks back. The attack took place on 29 August. To this, Indian officials said, "If they have removed us from there, why is China constantly demanding the removal of Indian soldiers from those peaks." Our soldiers and tanks are still there. We have not retreated an inch.

According to some media reports, a professor at a Chinese university has claimed that the Chinese Army used microwave weapons on them to evacuate the Indian Army occupying peaks in Ladakh. Jin Kenrang, associate dean of the School of International Studies at Renmin University, China, made this claim in an online program. In a video of this seminar surfaced on social media, Jin is saying that the Indian Army had captured two peaks. These peaks were important from a strategic point of view. Due to this, the Western Theater Command ordered how to withdraw these peaks.

Jin said that at the same time the Chinese army was also ordered not to fire under any circumstances. Meanwhile, our soldiers brought a brilliant idea. They attacked the peaks from below using microwave weapons, creating a microwave oven-like situation above. Many Indian soldiers started doing reversals and could not even stand up properly. Eventually, they left the peaks.

What are microwave weapons and how deadly?

A microwave is a form of electromagnetic radiation. It is used in cooking and radar systems. At the same time, microwaves as a weapon can increase the temperature of body tissue (tissue) and cause shockwaves inside the head through the ears. Research is underway in many countries to use this technology as a weapon. These weapons are considered less lethal and there is no risk of serious injury or death.

Both countries have agreed to withdraw troops

The forces of the two countries have agreed to repel the troops in the Finger area on the Ladakh border. The retreat of the troops will be completed in a phased manner. Its plan to retreat was discussed at the Corps Commander-level talks between the two countries held in Chushul on November 6 to reduce tensions at the border. The two countries have agreed to retreat from parts of the eastern Ladakh sector, under which they will return to places in April-May this year.
