Free Chick-fil-A, drinks and t-shirts were handed out on the quad at Lamar Institute of Technology Thursday for Student Appreciationn Day. Unnlike last yeart, this year's event was outdoors and did not include games and other activities due to COVID-19, but it still offered a way for the college to celebrate its students with likely the one thig most college students love most - free food.
