Mayor Raj Bala Malik launched the ‘eAwas’ scheme for the MC pool government houses on the MC office premises here today.

The Mayor said the employees of the Municipal Corporation could now submit an online application for the allotment/ change/mutual exchange of the houses through the eAwas website.

The applications received on or before the 20th day of a calendar month will be considered for allotment in the succeeding month. The applications received on the 21st day to the last date of a calendar month will be entertained/considered for allotment after the succeeding month.

KK Yadav, MC Commissioner, said the application form would be examined by the MC House Allotment Committee. In case of an incomplete application form or application form by ineligible applicants, the request will be rejected by the committee and the applicant will be required to submit a fresh online application on the official website.

After considering the eligible applications, the seniority lists shall be updated every month, on the website.
