India votes against Ukraine-sponsored resolution in the United Nations
The Third Committee of the UN General Assembly on Wednesday adopted the Ukraine-sponsored resolution that condemned alleged human rights violations in Crimea. The resolution was supported by 63 international locations and 22 opposed it, ET has learnt. In all, 85 abstained on the event.
India, in addition to Russia, was a part of the block of twenty-two international locations that opposed the resolution. China too opposed the resolution.
