German operator Freenet said it is deploying a cloud-based data platform on Amazon Web Services for data and business intelligence. The company wants to automate communication with customers and improve the customer experience while at the same time simplifying internal processes.
To achieve this goal, the company wants to use the data of around 13 million customers from the telecom, TV and media segments. The data is encrypted using a security-by-design approach.
Thanks to the flexible data and technology infrastructure, first-party and zero-party data can be automatically saved, analyzed and made available across channels in real time at all relevant touchpoints. Customers receive offers tailored to their needs at the various touchpoints.
