UPSESSB cancels exam for 15508 TGT, PGT vacancies; check details

LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board (UPSESSB) cancelled the recruitment examination announced for 15508 vacancies of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) & Post Graduate Teacher (PGT).
Candidates who have applied for the UPSESSB TGT & PGT vacancies are advised to visit the official website of the Board - upsessb.org - to check the official notice on cancellation of these exams.
As per the notification released by the Board, a fresh advertisement related to the same would be release soon by UPSESSB on the official website - upsessb.org. The candidates who have paid the registration fee for the TGT & PGT exams will again have to apply online, but will not have to pay the fee.
The decision to cancel the TGT and PGT recruitment was taken because of adapting two criteria for ad hoc and fresh candidates in the same written test. This was found to be wrong. The exclusion of TGT biology also brought legal hurdles. After consulting with the legal team, the Board decided to cancel the recruitment process to fill teacher posts.
