The BJP has started preparing the ground for radical changes in the states. The party has given a clear indication, first through Madhya Pradesh and now Bihar, that it intends to bring forth new leadership in the states. Under this policy, where many veteran politicians in Madhya Pradesh had failed to get a place in the Shivraj government, now in Bihar, the party has opted out of the three first-line leaders Sushil Modi, Dr. Prem Kumar, and Nandkishore Yadav.
In fact, after the results of Delhi in January this year, there was a serious churn in the state of the party at the top level in the party. After the Lok Sabha elections, the party's performance in the four states of Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Haryana, and Delhi during the assembly elections was very poor. In these states, the party suffered losses of resentment against the local face. It was then agreed to make the necessary changes while reviewing the state-wise situation, but in the meantime, the strategy of the Corona epidemic started wreaking havoc in implementing this strategy.
Formula tried in Madhya Pradesh
The change formula was first tried during the expansion of Shivraj's cabinet in July. It was the compulsion of the party to make Jyotiraditya's supporters a minister. But other than this, the party moved strongly towards creating a new leadership. Many stalwarts such as Gaurshankar Bisen, Paras Jain, Rajendra Shukla, Sanjay Pathak, Jalam Singh Patel failed to become ministers. The party fielded nine new faces.
The message was given in Bihar too
In Bihar, former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi, Dr. Prem Kumar, Nandkishore Yadav were considered not only the first line leaders of the party but also the face of BJP politics. But the party distanced itself from these three leaders during the formation of the government after the election. The Vaishya fraternity whose Kalwar sub-caste made Tarakishore Prasad as Deputy Chief Minister, while he had never been a minister before. Apart from this, the party gave place to new faces of different fraternities.
Review of all states in December
Party sources said that now next month, except Uttar Pradesh, all other states will be reviewed. These include Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, and also those states where the party is in government. According to sources, necessary changes will be made by an extensive review of the organization of the government and organization in the states with its power and where the party is in opposition. At present, there will be no change in West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh, because the party has already been in the electoral mood in these states.
