The Supersport 950 is powered by the same 937cc, L-twin engine as on the Multistrada 950.

The 2021 Ducati Supersport 950 has been revealed, and just like the Panigale V2, it too gets Panigale V4-inspired styling and updated tech.

2021 Ducati Supersport 950 styling

For 2021, the Supersport gets the Panigale treatment to bring its design closer in line with its siblings – the Panigale V2 and the Panigale V4. This includes the aggressive headlight design with the brow-like DRLs and updated bodywork that now includes new fins on either side of the headlight.

2021 Ducati Supersport 950 engine and chassis

Under the surface, Supersport 950 remains largely unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 937cc, L-twin engine with peak power and torque figures – 110hp at 9,000rpm and 93.5Nm at 6,500rpm – remaining unchanged as well. This engine is now Euro 5 compliant and the transition has seen the bike’s weight rise by 1kg to 210kg.

The chassis and hardware components have been carried over as well, with the familiar trellis frame and single-sided swingarm. As before, the base model uses a 43mm Marzocchi fork and a Sachs monoshock, while the higher-spec ‘S’ version features Ohlins at both ends.

2021 Ducati Supersport 950 electronics

The new Supersport 950 now comes with three riding modes – Sport, Touring and Urban – and a bidirectional quickshifter. Other electronics also include a Bosch six-axis IMU and the addition of a new 4.3-inch full-TFT dashboard.

2021 Ducati Supersport price and launch

Ducati has not unveiled the price for the new Supersport 950, but the company could do so very soon. We also expect this to be one of the models Ducati will introduce in India in the near future, considering that the Multistrada 950, which is powered by the same engine, is already here.
