YEIDA to float proposal for 2 new cities at Tappal Bajna, Vrindavan

GREATER NOIDA: YEIDA will float RFP for two new cities on Wednesday – one for Tappal Bajna and another for Vrindavan heritage city at Raya.
The Uttar Pradesh government has approved the master plan of this new city of Yamuna Authority. The city will be built on 11,104 hectares. Logistic and warehousing clusters will be made in this city, which is known as Tappal Bajna Urban Center. Of this, 1794.4 hectares will be reserved for industries and 1608.3 hectares of mixed land use. Along with this, provision of land will also be made for other facilities of the city. The city will be set up in 35 sectors.
Vrindavan heritage city will come up on the left of Yamuna Expressway at Raya (Mathura) on 9350 hectares along the Yamuna Expressway.
The city will be part of the state government’s plan to develop Yamuna Expressway as the heritage corridor to promote tourism from Dankaur, Mathura, Vrindavan to Agra and is likely to be called ‘New Vrindavan city’.
