COVID-19: Nashik's recovery rate at 95.65 pc; above 93k cases cured

Nashik, Nov 18 (UNI) The COVID-19 recovery rate of the district has further improved to 95.65 per cent while there are 2,497 active cases under medical supervision, District General Hospital RMO Dr Anant Pawar stated on Wednesday.

He further said that the highest 96.06 per cent recovery rate is in the city areas followed by Nashik Rural (95.12), Malegaon (93.38) and district non-native category (92.92).

With a total pandemic tally of 97,311, the highest 1,647 patients are from the limits of the Nashik Municipal Corporation followed by Sinnar (233), Niphad (152) and Malegaon civic limits (109).

The remaining cases, in two digits, are from the places Nashik Rural, Chandwad, Dindori, Deola, Nandgaon, Trimbakeshwar, Kalwan, Baglan, Igatpuri, Malegaon Rural and district non-native category.

The talukas of Yeola, Peth and Surgana have 8, 3 and 2 patients, respectively, apprised Dr Pawar.

Of the total caseload, 93,078 people have been cured while 1,736 others have died of the contagion till now.
