Five PLFI ultras including area commander arrested with arms by Ranchi Police

Ranchi, Nov 18 (UNI) An area commander of the PLFI is among the five ultras of the outfit
who have been nabbed by Ranchi police.
Briefing the press on Wednesday Ranchi SSP Surendra Kumar Jha said from the arrested
a carbine, three desi kattas, 25 live cartridges and 5 mobile phones have been recovered.
He said that police had received a tip off that PLFI area commander Tulsi Pahan has been
spotted in Sugnu Kaditola village under Khelgaon Police Station area where he was planning
to execute a big crime.
Following the input a special team was constituted which conducted raids and arrested Tulsi
Pahan. Based on the inputs provided by him four other ultras including Rajan Munda, Babloo
Karmali, Suraj and Anup Karmali have been arrested.
The SSP said that in half dozen police stations cases are registered against Pahan while
against others also cases are registered in different police stations.
He said that these ultras had been demanding extortion from the different traders of Ranchi
for the last one month and were also involved in firing at the house of tent house owner in
Dhurwa.
The SSP said that Tulsi Pahan has confessed that all the arms were provided to them by
PLFI supremo Dinesh Gope. Through Tulsi, Dinesh Gope wanted to spread terror among the
traders of Ranchi to collect levy.
