The engineering company Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has given ISRO the premature part of the booster system for the Gaganyaan mission, despite the restrictions of the COVID-19. The company gave its information on Tuesday.
The company told the BSE, "Even after the restrictions due to the COVID-19, the middle part of the world's third-largest solid-propellant rocket booster 'S-200' has been supplied prematurely without any shortage. The company said that this part has been built at the aerospace manufacturing plant in Powai, L&T. It fulfills the detailed quality and deadline conditions for India's first manned spacecraft mission.
The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) congratulated the team of ISRO and L&T, declaring it a gift of Diwali to the country. He said, "Both teams have worked tirelessly to prepare the hardware ahead of time while maintaining the best quality for a manned spacecraft mission.
