Shriram prevails over Harish in All India Snooker tourney

Chennai, Nov 18 (UNI) Shriram of TNBSA came back from
a two frame deficit to defeat Harish of SSA 4-3 in the first
round of the Ajay Rastogi Memorial All India Open Snooker
Championship here on Wednesday.
After losing the first two frames in the best of seven frame
contest, Shriram staged a remarkable comeback to win the
next three frames in a row, with some fine top table play.
Though Harish managed to level the score in the sixth
frame, the Tiruppur player played solidly in the decider
to win the contest by a 45 point margin.
In another match, Arjun of QBC defeated Sanjay (SSA)
4-1 to make it to the second round along with Shriram.
Other first round matches held today were one-sided
affairs.
