KALYAN: A sub-inspector of Railway Protection Force (RPF) on Tuesday evening saved a woman passenger from falling into the gap between platform and train at Kalyan railway station.
The passenger was identified as Soni Govanda, 35, a resident of Vallipier Road Kalyan (West).

The incident took place on Tuesday at 9.05pm and was caught on CCTV cameras. Vijay Solanki was on train passing duty and was attending Udayan special express train on platform number 5 when he noticed a woman falling into the the gap while trying to board the moving train. Seeing her, Solanki immediately got hold of her and saved her from falling.
Other passengers too came to the woman's aide.
The woman along with her husband and kids were going to Bengaluru.
