Bhopal District had the dubious distinction of spawning the highest 207 new instances, Indore 178, Gwalior 55, Jabalpur 48, Rewa 37, Vidisha 28, Ratlam and Satna 26 each, Balaghat 21, Sagar and Shivpuri 19 each, Dhar 12, Ujjain ten, Khargone eight, etc.
