Cheetahs lock JP du Preez is set to become the latest South African on the books of English club Sale Sharks.
The 26-year-old, who stands a whopping 2.09m in his socks, told OFM Sport that Saturday's Super Rugby Unlocked match against Griquas in Bloemfontein will be his last for the Cheetahs.
"It will be a very emotional day indeed. It was an honour to play for the Cheetahs and I am very grateful for the experience that I accumulated during the past few years.
"I will miss Bloemfontein dearly, but it's time for me to expand my skill-set and continue to grow my game," he said.
Du Preez's move to Sale is yet to be confirmed by the English club but he is set to be the 11th South African on their books.
Jono Ross, Akker van der Merwe, Coenie Oosthuizen, Lood de Jager, Cobus Wiese, Faf de Klerk, Rohan Janse van Rensburg and the Du Preez brothers Dan, Jean-Luc and Robert all ply their trade at the Manchester-based outfit.
