Markets continue to trade flat; M&M, Info Edge at 52-week high

Indian rupee opened marginally lower at 74.49 per dollar on Wednesday vs. previous close of 74.46.

Domestic markets are trading on a flat note after opening lower on Wednesday. The Nifty is at 12,885 levels, up 11.75 points while the Sensex is higher by 48 points at 44,001.39 levels.
Nifty PSU Bank index rose 2 percent, while FMCG index shed 1 percent. BPCL, HUL, Titan, Dr Reddy's Lab and Bharti Airtel were among top losers on the Nifty.
Mahindra and Mahindra stock is trading at 52-week high at Rs674.70 per piece. Also, Info Edge has touched its 52-week high levels at Rs3,988 per piece.
BSE Power Index rose 1 percent led by the Adani Transmission, Tata Power, Adani.

The shares of Laksmi Vilas Bank were locked up in 20% lower circuit in the early trade today after Finance Ministry put the bank under moratorium.
Indian rupee opened marginally lower at 74.49 per dollar on Wednesday against previous close of 74.46, amid flat trading seen in the domestic equity market. On November 17, domestic unit ended higher at 74.46 per dollar versus Friday's close of 74.60.
