Chennai: Perambalur becomes the first district in Tamil Nadu to be coronavirus free.

The noteworthy thing is, this district was less informed about coronavirus.

But, the proactive measures by the district authorities made sure Perambalur became free from contagion.

The district recorded 21 deaths and 2,228 patients were cured.

Tests on Monday resulted in zero positive cases in Perambalur.
