The International Federation of Knitting and Warp Knitting Professionals (IFKT / IFWS) has proposed Hitesh Kumar Sharma as the new president for North America. Sharma will be responsible for the national IFKT section in Mexico. He already takes care of national sections in the US and Canada. He recently innovated the knitwear H97 loop cluster for Covid-19.

The decision was taken during a virtual General Assembly last month, which decided to expand IFKT activities in Mexico now.

Sharma's contribution to the dressing and knitting industry is remarkable. He has taken an active role in maintaining and representing IFKT and has provided its national members with timely fashion information. His long-term vision, technical expertise and industry relationships have inspired the association to further expand into other countries around the world.

The purpose of the IFWS / IFKT is to provide professional information and further education for technicians, engineers, product developers, economists and all other professionals in the industry. The technical experts are able to establish cross-border connections in order to promote the common interest of the warp knitting / knitting industry, to further their personal professional training, to exchange experiences with competent technical experts and to find new ways into the future.
