Hyderabad: Offering much needed support to a crucial sector in troubled times, the State government has extended the facility of paying all building permission fees and other charges in four instalments, with the first instalment to be paid within 30 days to all municipalities and municipal corporations across the State.
The government issued orders to this effect on Monday evening.
The move comes after representatives of the Builders and Real Estate Developers Association approached the Government informing that lot of construction activity was going on in other Municipal Corporations and Municipalities and requested the Government to extend the instalment facility to all other Municipal Corporations and Municipalities.
Accordingly, the government, has extended the facility of paying the building permit fee and other charges on an installment basis.
Earlier this year, the State government had offered the facility of paying development and capitalisation charges in instalments.
This apart, the government had facilitated payment of building permission fee and betterment, development and capitalisation charges in instalments (subject to post-dated cheques and mortgaging additional built-up area) to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation or the HMDA for all permissions.
Now, the same facility is being extended to all municipalities and municipal corporations across the State.
