Digital platforms seem to be working overtime to deliver a surplus of versatile content to keep the celebrations going. This week brings forth a unique superhero documentary with Marvel’s 616. For those who love a gripping murder mystery, sink your teeth into Zee 5's Raat Baaki Hai. Netflix’s annual Christmas themed content has started to roll out as well to stay true to the holiday spirit. Here is a list of everything worth looking out for this week.

We Are The Champions (November 17)

The realm of competitive games is exciting but also quite bizarre, and We Are the Champions aims to highlight its relevance in today's world. The show explores unique and quirky competitions that most people don't even know exist, with each episode covering a different one. The most enjoyable part is how seriously all participants take these tournaments, willing to give their all, to garner acclaim. Some of the games covered include Cheese Rolling, Chili Eating, Fantasy Hair Styling, Yo-Yo, Dog Dancing, and Frog Jumping.

Holiday Home Makeover With Mr. Christmas (November 18)

When you get a holiday season loving interior designer to lead a show, you end up with a lot of deserving people receiving the best Christmas makeovers to their homes. Benjamin Bradley, also known as Mr Christmas is an expert when it comes to revamping living spaces and he's on a mission to inject it with all the bling and garlands he can find. Travelling to different locations, Benjamin and his team seek out various families and communities to present their service to and celebrate traditions with friends, family, and love.

The Princess Switch: Switched Again (November 19)

Vanessa Hudgens returns with a triple role in this sequel to the 2018 film. Duchess Margaret is in a fix as her long-distance relationship with her boyfriend, Kevin, is on the rocks. When she unexpectedly inherits the throne to Montenaro, her lookalike, Stacy visits her with Kevin and offers to switch places with her once again. This allows the couple to spend more time with each other but things soon go downhill. Margaret's nosy cousin, Fiona (who also looks identical to her) shows up for the celebrations and decides to have some fun herself by thwarting their plans.

Voices of Fire (November 20)

This series revolves around singer Pharrell Williams' hometown community, which is on a mission to form an inspirational gospel choir. Led by Pharrell's uncle, Bishop Ezekiel Williams, the recruitment team hunts for the best voices in the area with motivational backstories. As long as there's talent, other aspects like age, ethnicity, and background have no say. The ultimate goal of this journey is to form a group whose voice can be used to change the world.

A Simple Murder (November 20)

Sometimes a coincidence can ravage entire lives and Manish (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub) is a man ruined by such a tragedy. Driven by an unhappy life and a dire need for money, he signs up to kill someone. However, a slight miscalculation leads him to murder the wrong person. Now the deceased's boyfriend is out for Manish's life and the copious sum of money involved attracts corrupt officials as well. This dark comedy of errors gives Manish no room to breathe as he finds himself facing one threat after another.

Marvel's 616 (November 20)

The Marvel Cinematic Universe gave birth to a cultural phenomenon when the first Iron Man film released in 2008. Since then, the superhero genre has catapulted to the forefront of pop culture, resulting in numerous sequels, tv shows and web series. 616 is an anthology documentary that aims to examine the immense historical, cultural and societal impact the Marvel films have had on the world. The series covers eight unique stories that touch upon graphic artists, cosplayers, stage play programmes for high schools, and more.

Middle Class Melodies (November 20)

Raghava is a small-time owner of a tiny breakfast place in his village who aims to open a small hotel in the city. He eventually decides to move out and invests in a small shop against his father's wishes. In a twist of fate, the owner of the shop turns out to be his lover, Sandhya's father, who disagrees with their relationship. With no other option, Raghava gives it his all to transform the shop into a successful business to prove his worth. It is a heartfelt tale focussed on the struggles of middle-class people.

Raat Baaki Hai (November 20)

Based on Atul Satya's popular play, Ballygunje-1990, Raat Baaki Hai chronicles the events of one night where two former lovers, Kartik and Vasuki, run into each other after 12 years, under mysterious circumstances. The mood is tense as Kartik is revealed to be on the run for being a murder suspect. The night hides a lot of secrets and is accompanied by several unexplained situations that point to something sinister.

Dolly Parton's Christmas on the Square (November 22)

A few days before Christmas, an extremely wealthy and lewd woman, Regina Fuller, returns to her hometown due to her father’s death. She plans to expel all the people living on her land and sell it to a mall developer for profit. However, her heartlessness takes a hit when she converses with the locals and meets up with an ex-lover. She even has a run-in with a real angel that gives her a better perspective of friends, family, love, and the Christmas spirit.
