Patna, Nov 16 (UNI) Frustrated with their defeat in the recently concluded Bihar assembly election the entire opposition including Rashtriya Janata Dal ( RJD) Congress and left parties constituent of the Grand Alliance would not attend the oath-taking ceremony of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government to be formed today under the leadership of Chief Minister-designate Nitish Kumar.
While making such announcement, the RJD tweeted on social media that the public gave the mandate for change and transformation which was against the NDA. The RJD announced to boycott
the oath-taking ceremony of Chief Minister-designate Nitish Kumar.
RJD alleged that the unemployed, farmers, contractual teachers and others working on contract basis were facing hardships.
Expressing confidence in the people the RJD termed the new government taking oath this evening as a " hapless" government.
Meanwhile, Congress MLC Premchand Mishra disclosing the party's decision said that the Congress too will not attend the oath-taking ceremony of the new government as the mandate was to bring a change and alleged that with the conspiracy of Administrative machinery the victory of grand alliance was changed into defeat.
The Communist Party of India Marxist Leninist CPI (ML) state secretary Kunal informed that his party has also decided to remain away from the ceremony along with Communist Party of India CPI and Communist Party of India Marxist CPI M.
JDU President Nitish Kumar is all set to be sworn in as Bihar CM for the seventh term in a simple ceremony at Rajabhavan this evening. Some others would also be taking oath as cabinet ministers along with Mr Kumar.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to attend the ceremony along with other leaders of the BJP including party in-charge of Bihar affairs Bhoopendra Yadav, party state president Sanjay Jayaswal, former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and others.
