PM condoles death of Raj Min Bhanwarlal Meghwal

New Delhi, Nov 16 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed deep grief over the demise of Rajasthan Cabinet Minister Master Bhanwarlal Meghwal.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Mr Modi posted 'Saddened by the demise of Rajasthan Cabinet Minister, Master Bhanwarlal Meghwal Ji. He was a veteran leader who was passionate about serving Rajasthan. In this hour of sadness, my condolences to his family and supporters.'

The 72-year-old Congress leader, who was suffering from brain haemorrhage, died in a hospital in Haryana's Gurugram on Monday. He was 72.

The Rajasthan Cabinet Minister suffered a brain stroke in May this year.

Master Meghwal was the Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment in the Congress government, led by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in Rajasthan.
