Maharashtra: Only one thousand people will get admission in Siddhivinayak, the religious site reopened after eight months

Religious places closed for eight months in Maharashtra have reopened since Monday. The state government has announced this. While visiting religious places, it will be mandatory for devotees to wear masks and observe the social distance. It will also be mandatory to follow the rules of Kovid-19.

Only one thousand devotees will be allowed inside the famous Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai from Monday onwards. Devotees will be given different times for worship through the mobile app. This information was given by its Chairman Adesh Bandekar on Sunday.

This will be the process for entering Siddhivinayak temple

Closed shrines in Maharashtra have opened since Monday following the lockdown in March due to Kovid-19. Bandekar told reporters that Siddhivinayak Trust has developed a mobile app through which devotees can book time for darshan from Monday.

He said, devotees, will have to download the 'Sri Siddhivinayak Mandir' app on their mobile phones to have darshan. They have to fill in the details and book the time after which a 'QR Code' will be created with the scheduled time. 'QR' code will be created for one thousand people in a day.

Bandekar said that devotees would have to put a 'QR Code' in the scanner in the temple. He said, after necessary investigation, they will be allowed inside. He said the barrier will be opened only when the body temperature of the devotee is normal and he will be wearing a mask.

Hundreds of people will be allowed inside every hour except Aarti and Pooja. Bandekar appealed to the senior citizens to visit Lord Ganesha on a mobile app until the status of Kovid-19 returns to normal. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced on Saturday that religious places in the state will be opened from Monday.

What are the guidelines?

According to the government-issued guideline, devotees without masks will not enter the shrines. Also, it will be mandatory to follow the guidelines of Kovid. One has to keep a distance of six feet between each other. Persons over 65 years of age, pregnant women, children under 10 years of age, and sick persons have been advised to stay home. Also, sanitation has been ordered at the religious site.
