PM congratulates Nitish, says NDA family will work together for progress of Bihar

New Delhi, Nov 16 (UNI) Congratulating Nitish Kumar on taking oath for the fourth consecutive term and seventh time as Bihar Chief Minister, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said the NDA family will work together for the progress of the state.

The Prime Minister also congratulated all those, who took oath as Ministers in the Bihar Government.

Mr Modi assured all possible support from the Centre for the welfare of Bihar.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, 'Congratulations to @NitishKumar Ji on taking oath as Bihar's CM. I also congratulate all those who took oath as Ministers in the Bihar Government. The NDA family will work together for the progress of Bihar. I assure all possible support from the Centre for the welfare of Bihar.'

Mr Kumar was administered oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar by Governor Fagu Chauhan at a simple function, organised at Raj Bhawan in Patna.

Along with Mr Kumar, Tar Kishore Prasad and Renu Devi of BJP and Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Ashok

Kumar Choudhary, Vijendra Prasad Yadav, Mewa Lal Choudhary, Sheela Mandal of JD (U) took oath as Cabinet Ministers.

Santosh Kumar Suman of Hindustani Awam Morcha and Mukesh Sahni of Vikassheel Insan Party also took oath.

Altogether 15 Ministers, including the Chief Minister, took the oath on Monday.

In the new government, seven Ministers took oath from BJP, six from JD (U) including the Chief Minister and one each from the Hindustani Awam Morcha and Vikassheel Insan Party.
