It was an intimate ceremony attended by only close family members and friends, as revealed by Kangana Ranaut.

Just a few days, ahead of the wedding, Kangana had revealed details about the "intimate" wedding, tweeting, "This is such a lovely time for my family and me, I am hosting my brother's destination wedding in Udaipur where Ranauts originally hail from, leaving for my parents house now, because of corona it's a small intimate gathering now but excitement is the same."

Sharing this picture, Kangana wrote: "Dear friends, bless my brother Aksht and his new bride Ritu, hope they find great companionship in this new phase of their lives."

Talking about Aksht's wedding rituals, it began last month. His wedding festivities began with the traditional Haldi ritual in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh in mid-October.

Kangana Ranaut, through social media, explained that the badhaai ceremony is performed at the maternal grandparents' home ahead of sending the wedding invitations.

Ever since Kangana Ranaut turned wedding planner for Aksht she pulled out all stops to make her brother's big day memorable. And the pictures are speaking for it enough.

Kangana's sister Rangoli too had shared an emotional note, after the wedding, praising the actress, who may have a public image of being outspoken and fiery, but is a loving family person at heart.

Rangoli wrote on social media, "I know many superstars who will do this kind of regal destination wedding for themselves, I don’t know anyone who will do this for her/his sibling.... not only she spent crores but incessantly worked on each and every detail for more than a year, there is so much about Kangana but unfortunately, people only focus on her fiery and courageous side .... her involvement with her surroundings her loving nature is her biggest strength... feeling emotional, feeling very emotional [sic]"

The entire venue had been done up in flowers, with marigolds and white flowers dominating the show. In picture: Kangana Ranaut's parents pose for a picture, looking all happy, as their son gets hitched.

Rangoli Chandel posted this candid picture with husband Ajay Chandel, as the latter gazed into her eyes.

Aunt-nephew duo - Kangana Ranaut with little Prithvi were all smiles, as they get clicked at one of the pre-wedding events.

Rangoli Chandel posted this picture, where Aksht can be seen all suited-up, while the bride looked resplendent in a red saree. She wrote, "Man and wife .... time for kuldevi temple"
