Shimla , Nov 16 UNI) As many as 8 people lost their lives due to the pandemic novel coronavirus in Himachal Pradesh during the past 24 hours while 443 more were infected in the same period.

Of the freshly reported cases, 109 were from Mandi, 81 in Shimla, 73 in Kullu, 71 in Lahaul Spiti, ,54 n Kangra, 17 in Solan, 10 in Chamba, nine in Bilaspur, 14 in Una, 11 in Kinnuar, nine in Hamipur, six in Sirmuar, & Two in Una.

The deaths were reported from -- 3 from Shimla and one each from Kangra, Chamba, Mandi, Bilaspur and Sirmuar, mounting the death toll 108.

With new additions, the overall tally reached 30,256 while the active cases increased to 6775. The state has so far seen 22,910 recoveries. As many as 21 have migrated to other states.
