Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh said on Sunday that he tested positive for COVID-19.
He took to Twitter to inform that he had tested positive for COVID-19 and requested those who came in contact with him to get tested.
"I have tested positive for COVID-19. I request all those who came in close contact with me recently, to self-isolate and get tested." Singh tweeted.

On another social media platform, he said he was showing certain symptoms of coronavirus, and therefore he got himself tested.
A health department official said that he is currently in home isolation.
