Sony PlayStation 5 has had a massive opening after it was released in certain regions on November 12. Although Sony has not yet unveiled any official launch date for India, there are some details that have become available. If certain reports are to be believed, the PlayStation 5 users in those regions where it was launched are facing some problems. According to certain gaming websites, it has been revealed that PlayStation 5 users are experiencing a bug that prevents them from downloading certain games and apps. This bug is causing games and apps to get stuck at ‘Queued for Download' or in an error state. T

The situation has becoming confusing for many users because the PlayStation5 library shows that you own the game, but the PS5 Store says that you don't. The bug is in two forms. Both will prompt you to check the Downloads menu, which then shows nothing. This means that the game is stuck in limbo - it won't download and it can't be cancelled or downloaded again.

What games and apps of PS5 has been hit?

According to a report in the gaming website IGN, the bug has hit the PS5 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. However, on the PlayStation 4 version, it has downloaded normally and working. Other games that have been impacted are Godfall, Demon's Souls, Spider-Man Remastered, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and the Disney+ app.

What is the solution?

According to a technology website Activision, it has recommended that in order for the bug to be eliminated, it is recommending a factory reset to the users who are facing the issue regarding Call of Duty game. This is a risky situation as many users will not want to wipe their entire console blank.

What is the cost of PS5 in India whenever they release it?

As mentioned, there is no official response from Sony over this. Customers can still purchase PS5 skins from third-party vendors. Its price is set at Rs 49,990 for the standard variant while PS Digital edition costs Rs 39,990. Both PlayStation models come with the same specifications, with the presence or absence of a disc drive being the only difference
