34 more test positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal; death toll mounts to 48

Itanagar, Nov 15 (UNI) As many as 34 more people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh, taking the state's caseload to 15792, while the fatalities toll rose to 48 following death of a 75-year-old-man.



Out of the new positive cases, 13 cases were reported from Itanagar Capital Complex (ICC) , nine from West Kameng, six from East Siang, three from Leparada, one each from Changlang, West Siang and Lower Subansiri, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services (DHS).



Barring 11, all the cases are asymptomatic.



According to the bulletin issued by the DHS last night, a 75-year-old man passed away on Friday at his residence in New Market, Daporijo under Upper Subansiri district. He was suffering from diabetes mellitus and detected Covid-19 positive through RAT. He died due to cardio respiratory failure.



On the other hand, 102 patients were discharged , taking the total recoveries to 14421. Active cases stand at 1323.
