UP CM prays at Kedarnath, to visit Badrinath tmrw

Lucknow, Nov 15 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Kedarnath Dham on Sunday and will visit Badrinath dham on Monday.



Mr Adityanath, who is on a two-day visit to the hill state of Uttarakhand, will also lay the foundation stone of Rs 11 crore UP Tourist Guest House at Badrinath Dham on Monday.



He prayed at Kedarnath Dham on Sunday afternoon, after celebrating Deepawali in Gorakhpur, officials said here on Sunday.



Mr Adityanath, accompanied by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat, is scheduled to make night stay at Kedarnath, to attend the 'Kapat' closing ceremony at the Temple in the early hours of Monday. He will proceed to Badrinath after the programme.



The proposed 40-room Tourist Guest House in Badrinath will be a green building, constructed in Garhwal style of architecture and to be completed in two-year time at Joshimath tehsil in Chamoli district.



The Tourist Rest House, a UP Tourist Department project, is proposed to be constructed in one acre land and will have a restaurant, a conference hall, dormitory and parking. It will cater to both domestic and foreign tourists, as well as devotees, coming to have a 'darshan' at the Badrinath Dham.

Chandigarh, Nov 15 (UNI) For the first time, All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) has opened admissions for girl students for the academic session 2021-22 for Class VI (Class 6th) across the country. The All India Entrance Examination (AISSEE)-2021-2022 will be held for both boys and girls on January 10, 2021 (Sunday). The entrance examination for Class IX will be held for boys on the same day.
