SFs launch CASO in north Kashmir’s Baramulla

Srinagar, Nov 15 (UNI) Security forces on Sunday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in north Kashmir district of Baramulla.

Official sources said following specific information about presence of militants, a joint CASO was launched by Special Operations Group (SOG) of J&K police, Army and CRPF at Wanigam, Pattan in Baramulla on Sunday afternoon.

They said despite wet weather, security forces were conducting house-to house searches in the area. “Searches were also being conducted in nearby fields and orchards,” they said, adding the operation was still going on when the reports last came in.
