After a gap of seven months, the Pakistan Super League will kick-off yet again with the knockout stages being played at the National Stadium in Karachi on Saturday. Multan Sultans will clash with the Karachi Kings in the first Qualifier of Pakistan Super League 2020 while the second match will be the Eliminator between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zami. The winner of the first match will go directly into the final while the loser of the Qualifier will play the winner of the Eliminator in the format very much similar to the Indian Premier League.
The finals were initially supposed to be held in March but it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The current season of Pakistan Super League will see a new champion as defending champions Quetta Gladiators have been knocked out of the tournament. After this season, the Pakistan Super League will have an exclusive window.
