The BSE Sensex is at 43,824 (up 0.9%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA STEEL (up 2.2%), BAJAJ FINSERV (up 2.1%) and BHARTI AIRTEL (up 1.7%). Other gainers include INDUSIND BANK (up 1.6%) and L&T (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and ITC.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,829 (up 0.7%). TATA MOTORS (up 2.4%) and BAJAJ FINSERV (up 2.0%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,116 to 43,824, registering a gain of 3,708 points (up 9.2%).
ASHOK LEYLAND net profit down at Rs 4 billion for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 278 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 83.8% to Rs 6.5 billion during the period as against Rs 40.2 billion in April-June 2019.
For the year ended March 2019, ASHOK LEYLAND reported 19.7% increase in net profit to Rs 21.8 billion compared to net profit of Rs 18.2 billion during FY18.
Revenue of the company grew 11.0% to Rs 332 billion during FY19.
The current Price to earnings ratio of ASHOK LEYLAND, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 71.0x.
