The upscale, celebrity-filled enclave of Hidden Hills has been a magnet for privacy-seeking stars—from Drake to the Kardashian clan.
The pop star Miley Cyrus rejoined the gated community of Hidden Hills this summer. The chart-topper scooped up a remodeled home for just under $5 million, Variety reported.
The upscale, celebrity-filled enclave of Hidden Hills has been a magnet for privacy-seeking stars—from Drake to the Kardashian clan.
Cyrus, the “Midnight Sky” songstress, recorded a sweet deal in the San Fernando Valley region. The home initially came on the market last year for $5,449,000, before quickly dropping to $5,099,000. Cyrus managed to eke out another discount when she purchased the home, which had spent about a year on the market.
Originally built in 1957, the East Coast traditional-style estate features an updated, open concept floor plan with 6,800 square feet, six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
It was fully remodelled in 2018, and highlights include an open kitchen with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, an oversized center island, glass tile, and shiplap accents. The adjacent family room features a mercury glass bar and a wine fridge, and opens out to the patio.
Up a floating staircase, you’ll find the oversize master suite, which could easily fit a Peloton, a reading area, or even a desk for a workspace. The room also includes a fireplace, private balcony, walk-in closet, and an en suite bathroom with dual sinks and separate vanity.
Other perks of the property include an office, a home theatre, and formal dining room.
On the 1.1-acre grounds, the design includes a grotto-style pool and spa, a fire pit, outdoor dining, and a built-in barbecue. An undeveloped hillside affords opportunities for adding a guesthouse or barn.

Just 27, Cyrus has quite an impressive property portfolio in addition to her latest land grab. Let’s take a look.
Hidden Hills horse ranch
The chart topper had lived in the exclusive enclave previously, buying a horse ranch in 2015 for $5 million. The property featured a 1950s ranch house with horse facilities and a vineyard, on 5.5 acres.
Previously purchased by the Woodbridge Group as a teardown, for a little over $4 million, it quickly sold to Cyrus. She scooped it up for $5 million and saved it from the wrecking ball for a bit.
However, she let the property go in 2018, for the price she had originally paid, $5 million. The home was eventually razed by the new owner, and the parcel popped back up on the market this year as shovel-ready. The land sold, along with plans for anew, luxe mansion, for a whopping $15 million in April.
Malibu guesthouse
In 2016, the “Malibu” singer picked up a small spot in in the coastal community for $2.5 million. The turquoise-hued, four-bedroom retreat was reportedly used by Cyrus and her husband at the time, Liam Hemsworth, as a creative studio and guesthouse.
The couple lived nearby in a home that Hemsworth had purchased for $6.8 million back in 2014. That place tragically burnt down in the Woolsey fire in 2018. Thankfully, the couple and their dogs were unhurt.
