With the booking of 1,125 Diwali stalls, the Panchkula Municipal Corporation has collected an amount of nearly Rs6.48 lakh.
The first-of-its-kind booking exercise is being conducted online through a dedicated portal – stallbooking.online.
Spaces in front of SCOs, SCFs, bays and booths could only be booked by owner/lessee/tenant of the shop. In case the booking was made by persons other than owner/lessee/tenant of the shop, it would be rejected and the amount forfeited.
