The news of PUBG going out of India, then returning again has left netizens confused. However now, after being banned in India, PUBG Corporation is preparing to bring a new country game. 

Under the name of PUBG Mobile India, the developers said it has been specially prepared for the Indian market. The company has said that this new game will increase its users' data security and follow local rules. PUBG Corporation has said that regular audit and verification of storage systems will be done to keep the data of Indian users safe.

As soon as the news was out, PUBG Mobile fans went crazy and was met with an overwhelmingly positive reaction from not just casual fans but also pros and streamers. 

PUBG Mobile will be releasing an Indian-specific version with several changes exclusive to this version. There has also been promising news in the way of esports for PUBG Mobile, with Krafton announcing a $100 million investment to cultivate the local video game, esports, entertainment, and IT industries' ecosystems in India.

Ban was imposed on September 2: The central government had banned 118 mobile apps, including PUBG, in the country, citing national security. The government had received a report that these mobile apps available on Android and iOS platforms are stealing users' data and illegally transmitting this data to servers located outside the country.
