Diwali gifts distributed

Ludhiana: With the motto of ‘Har Ghar Deep Jale’, Diwali gifts were distributed among the Class IV employees at Government College Girls, Ludhiana. The officiating-Principal, Gurpreet Kaur, distributed gifts to the Class IV employees on the occasion. She said Diwali is a festival that brings happiness among all stratum of society and no one should be deprived of it. Members of the Staff Council and Campus Committee were present on the occasion.

Webinar on NEP-2020

The IQAC Cell of KCW Sidhwan Khurd organised a webinar on National Education Policy (NEP), 2020 on the instructions from University Grants Commission, Ministry of Education, Government of India. The webinar was organised on the occasion of National Education Day. The resource person of the webinar was Prof. Tarsem Bahia, Principal (retd), AS College, Khanna. Every year, India celebrates National Education Day on November 11 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Education Minister, said Principal Rajwinder Kaur Hundal.

Staff administered integrity pledge

The staff of Arya College took ‘Integrity Pledge’ to observe the Vigilance Awareness Week - 2020. The pledge was framed by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) for the organisations. Savita Uppal, Principal, Arya College, Ludhiana, administered the pledge to the staff. The staff took the pledge through Google Meet. The college also organised an essay writing and short story writing competition to ensure the involvement of students. TNS
