Madikeri: Four persons were arrested on the charges of possessing drugs and 2kg marijuana worth Rs. 80,000 was recovered from them at Virajpet.
Four accused Mohammad Altaf of Mogalli, Abdul Munaf of Kallubane, PL Abhishek of Sunkadakatte, KB Shafique of Perumbadi were selling the contrabrand when they were arrested.
Virajpet DYSP CT Jayakumar, inspector Kyathegoda, SI Bhojappa and others raided the spot and arrested the accused. The bike used by the accused has been seized. All the accused have been remanded to judicial custody for 15 days.
