Man & son killed in road accident on Jalandhar road

Hoshiarpur, Nov 13 (UNI) A man and son died on the spot when a speedy tourist bus of a private transport company hit their scooter on which they were going near Harsi Pind crossing on Jalandhar-Pathankot GT road Friday.
Three bus passengers also sustained minor injuries in the accident.

The deceased were identified as Vipan Kumar and his father Kashmiri Lal, both of Malakpur Bodal.
The injured bus passengers were admitted to CHC Tanda.
Sources, said after hitting the aforesaid Activa scooter, the bus driver lost control over the vehicle due to which it overturned in the middle of the road.
The tourist bus was bound for Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir from Delhi. After the accident the bus staff including driver fled leaving their vehicle. At the time of accident about 33 passengers were in the bus.
Deceased Kashmiri Lal and his son Vipin were going to village Alampur from Tanda.
Tanda police is investigating the case.
