Stock market update: 55 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 7.95 points down at 12682.85 on Friday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE were: Adani Enterprises; Adani Green Energy; Amara Raja Batteries; Blue Dart Express; Grasim Industries; IFB Industries; IG Petrochemicals; Jubilant Foodworks; Lakshmi Machine Works; Procter & Gamble (P&G) Health; Tube Investments of India; UltraTech Cement.

Overall, 25 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 25 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.

In the Nifty 50 index, Eicher Motors, Coal India Ltd, Bajaj Finserv, Hero MotoCorp and RIL were among top gainers, while Tata Motors, Larsen & Toubro, IndusInd Bank, SBI and HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 49.36 points down at 43307.83. Traders were seen piling up position in Rubber, Diversified, Hospitals & Allied Services, Glass and Textiles sectors, while selling were visible in Agro Processing, Trading, Construction, Media & Entertainment and Aquaculture sectors.
