EICHER MOTOR Share Price Up by 5%; BSE AUTO Index Up 0.5%

EICHER MOTOR share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 2,474.

Meanwhile, the BSE AUTO Index is at 18,820 (up 0.5%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE AUTO Index today is EICHER MOTOR (up 5.0%).

TVS MOTORS (down 0.1%) and CUMMINS INDIA (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, EICHER MOTOR has moved up from Rs 2,136 to Rs 2,474, registering a gain of Rs 338 (up 15.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE AUTO has moved up from 18,290 to 18,820, registering a gain of 530 points (up 2.8%) during the last 12 months.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,736 (up 0.1%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include EICHER MOTOR (up 5.1%), BAJAJ FINSERV (up 3.1%) and RELIANCE IND. (up 2.8%). Other gainers include BAJAJ FINANCE (up 2.2%) and HERO MOTOCORP (up 1.4%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,345 to 43,522, registering a gain of 3,177 points (up 7.57%).

EICHER MOTOR Financial Update...

EICHER MOTOR net profit down at Rs 102 million for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 5 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 65.5% to Rs 8.2 billion during the period as against Rs 23.7 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2020, EICHER MOTOR reported 8.5% decrease in net profit to Rs 18.0 billion compared to net profit of Rs 19.6 billion during FY19.

Revenue of the company grew 6.6% to Rs 91 billion during FY20.

The current Price to earnings ratio of EICHER MOTOR, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 4.9x.
